We shipped 2x20GP containers of aluminium plates (5083-H111) to India on Oct.15th,2021. Meanwhile we got the new order for over 100tons of aluminium plates this week.

The current business for aluminium materials is tough. Affacted by price increase of silicon (Si) & magnesium (Mg) and electricity rationing in many cities of China, the price of aluminium alloy plates has gone up too much and the lead time is also much longer than before. The SMM aluminium ingot price was RMB23650/ton On Oct.15th, 2021. Currently very few aluminium mills in China can complete the production in 60days. The lead time is ranging from 60days to 90days now.

Firstep is trying hard to support its business partners to get the aluminium plates in time and at good prices.

The alloy and temper we are exporting include 5083-O,F,H111,H112, H116 or H321, 5052-O or H32, 5754-O,H111 or H112, 6082-T6 or T651, 7075-T6 or T651.  The thickness ranges from 4mm to 150mm.
